Radio Andorra broadcast on July 2nd, 2022

Aqui Radio Andorra will broadcast a restored recording of “Hit Parade of 17th July 1977” with 100 kW from Moosbrunn, Austria, on the following frequencies:

  • 6180 kHz, 1700-1915 UTC to Europe
  • 13730 kHz, 2200-0015 UTC to North America

For the first time in 42 years, Patrick Obrelli, the original host of the show will be back behind the microphone to share some of his memories of working at Radio Andorra during its peak in the 1970s.

HFZone Radiogram series contributions for Monday 9 May: GueroGram Episode 1b

Several of us HFZone community members are aficionados of the Radiogram concept and big fans of Kim Andrew Elliot’s Shortwave Radiogram program that airs on WINB and WRMI.

As a tribute to SWRadiogram and celebrating this exciting aspect of our hobby some of us (including blog contributor J3ff and myself) have begun to compose experimental attempts at radiograms encoded in various digital modes including MFSK32 and MFSK64.

We are not ready to send these experimental recordings for SW transmission just yet, but we do want to make them available here for other community members to attempt a decode. Any feedback you can provide us will help us develop our craft in constructing good radiograms!
